The Administrator is the chief administrative and fiscal officer for Clare
County government and is appointed by and accountable to the Board of County
Commissioners.
The Office of the County Administrator provides general
staff assistance to the Board of Commissioners, advising of problems, needs and
policy alternatives; acts as liaison between the board and various elected and
appointed officials, boards and commissions; develops and monitors systems and
strategies to accomplish the goals and objectives of the Board.
The Administrator works closely with the County Treasurer and Clerk/Register
to process a variety of financial management activities.
The County Administrator’s Office is located on the
main floor of the County Courthouse in Harrison.
