Elections to be held in 2012 include:

• February 28th Primary Election

• May 8th - Redding Township Only

• August 7th County-Wide Primary

• November 6th General Election

CANDIDATE FILING DEADLINE:

Deadline for filing for the upcoming August Primary which will qualify individuals to be on the November 6, 2012 ballot is May 15 at 4:00 p.m. All township and county officials are up for reelection with the exception of a few judgeships. Persons planning to run for election must file proper paperwork with their proper filing official not later than May 15, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. If there are questions they can visit the Secretary of State website at www.michigan.gov/sos for further information or contact their local township clerk or county clerk's office at 539-7131.
